What We Offer
We believe emails are accessible to everyone. Finding events on social media can be a nightmare. Having a way for those without social media, or those taking a break from it, to be aware of local events is critical to continue growing our communities.
Website Calendar
We maintain a website calendar for those whose email inboxes are too chaotic to commit to another email subscription. Or for people to find us organically through web searches.
Printable PDF
And for everyone in our communities who don’t have an email or internet access, each week we also produce a printable PDF of the upcoming events. Anyone can print this and post it in their public spaces (or mail it to grandma).

Make the Iron Range aware of your event
Submit any Iron Range event that you are hosting/represent. All event listings are free. You can add this to the cart and go through the checkout process (and pay $0, or you can email me your event information at ashley@ironrangeevents.com ! You’re welcome to send me multiple events at a time!
why are we doing this?
“I wish I knew that was happening! I would have gone!” is something that I’ve said way too often. If we’re being honest, many local businesses and groups don’t know or understand how or where to get the word out about the amazing things they’re doing! If you don’t have social media or get the paper you don’t know about ANY local events. Social media and the local paper provide some events (if you’re looking for them). But there’s not really anywhere you can go to get access to all local events. Our goal is to change that.
This is why we are starting Iron Range Events and specifically utilizing email as a way to get the word out. Everyone has access to an email. Getting the local paper costs money. Relying on social media requires a certain amount of tech abilities that not everyone has (and some people just don’t want to use it). But opening an email? That is something that nearly EVERYONE has access to.
Our goal is to help build our local communities through simple weekly event newsletters by offering affordable advertising to local businesses, groups, and individuals. We can maintain the newsletter by event listing fees. We can develop more ways to get the word out about local events with the help of local partner sponsorships.
We are committed to providing event listings for events that are family friendly. We know that means different things to different people, so we are basing our “family-friendly” criteria on our own personal convictions. You can read more about that here.
